‘Not he is great who can alter matter, but he who can alter my state of mind.’ —Ralph W Emerson
Throughout the BA, the aspiration to understand human mind and behaviour has drawn me closer to and made me more passionate about the interactive discipline.
My main interests are the notions of emotion and experience within design. Both art and design movements and critiques point out the role of emotional experience in the viewer, user and consumer to determine the value of artistic processes and design products.
My projects’ aim is to examine individual and social human sensitivity by exploring, documenting and visualising: memories, social engagement, mental stress and relaxation, physical emotional gestures, and biological responses to emotions.
