My work is driven by my interest in printmaking and my passion for handmade work. I am predominantly an image-maker however I have also done editorial work, developing skills in text and image. I believe that is important to have good craftsmanship in order to be a successful image-maker. This year my work has focused on preserving knowledge; preventing folklore, ideas and stories from being lost by celebrating them
visually. I have also worked on a mail art project with students abroad to play with ideas on how we can change the way we live to create a better future. I hope to continue developing my skills as a printmaker. I would like to travel, teach, learn and preserve artistic skills and crafts in other cultures and to work on community projects where I can apply my creative skills to an ethical cause.
